Rahelly Stud is situated between the foothills of Benbulben Mountain and the sea at Lissadell in North Sligo. It stands two stallions, Rugby and Mister Fotis. I set it up in order to bring quality stallions to the Northwest at an affordable price. I have fifteen breeding mares. I found I had to travel long distances in to have the mares covered with thoroughbred stallions. This was very expensive and time consuming and was not sustainable in these recessionary times. In order to have my own mares covered and also provide a good quality stallion service in the Northwest, I decided to import two stallions from America, Rugby from North Carolina and Mister Fotis from Florida. Rugby ran successfully as a two and three year old. His pedigree is impeccable. He is out of out of Ms Rutledge, a listed and stakes winner, who bred eleven winners. Thirty percent of her foals either won black type or were placed in black type races. His grand dam and great grand dam had twenty two runners between them and all twenty two were winners. Mister Fotis is a multiple group stakes winner with winnings of $425,440 in a very successful career

There is plenty of pasture for your mare and foal to roam. You leave your mare and foal here for a few days or a good while longer, if you need. You'll be happy to know they'll be getting plenty of attention and exceptional care.
